Whether you are coming from Victoria (the south) or Nanaimo (the north), the easiest way to get to the Holmesdale house is to follow the signs to the Hospital.

Driving into Duncan from the South

• From Highway 1 turn west on Trunk Rd.
• Trunk Rd will turn into Government Rd, pass downtown Duncan and then head up the hill.
• Continue until the intersection of Government St. and College St.
• Turn right onto College St and take your first right onto Holmesdale St.

The trickiest part is here, when you see the Seven Eleven and the traffic
lights, veer right onto College St, not a sharp right onto Caimsmore St.

Coming from the North, this means you would:

• Take first exit into Ducan.
• Go through round about onto Canada Ave.
• Turn right onto Phillip St.
• Left onto Islay St.
• Right on Cairnsmore St.
• Which brings you to the intersection in the photo, make a sharp right turn onto College St.
• Turn right onto Holmesdale St.

From Nanaimo (the North), take your first exit
into Duncan and follow the Hospital sign until
you reach the Cairnsmore St., Govenrment St.,
College St. junction. Take a sharp right
onto College St.
